High-Torque Keyless Flanged Coupling
Engineered a production-ready, heavy commercial powertrain coupling using precision thermal shrink-fit (H7/u6) and high-tension friction-grip bolted interfaces with ISO Grade 10.9 M20 fasteners and AISI 4340 forged steel, mathematically validated to transmit up to 12.8 kN·m pure frictional torque.

Full-Complement Bearing Prototype
Designed a custom cageless ball bearing engineered for maximum radial load capacity. Achieved a maximum-density layout of 11 rolling elements by optimizing internal track geometry and engineered micro-clearances.
↗Parametric Mechanical Cotter Joint
Built a dynamically scaling socket-and-spigot cotter joint driven by a master variable (d = 40 mm). Adapted empirical machine design formulas to standard shop sizes, 1:24 single-sided tapers, and a 3 mm axial draw gap.
↗Parametric Fastener Engine (M12 × 1.5)
Designed an automated, fully parametric bolt & nut system driven by global equations. Dynamically calculates ISO thread geometry (0.6134 × P) and helix revolutions, featuring an M12 × 1.5 fine-pitch profile with a 5mm unthreaded shoulder and 6-turn optimal thread engagement depth.
↗Custom 3:1 Spur Gear Transmission System
Modeled a compact 3:1 precision spur gear reduction drive (18T / 54T, 2.5 Module) in SolidWorks. Re-engineered tooth geometry using custom 4-point style splines constrained to pitch and root diameters to solve small-pinion clearance challenges at a 90mm center distance.
